Christmas Cracker (sung to Frere Jacques)
Christmas cracker, Christmas cracker (hold an imaginary cracker in your hand)
in your hand, in your hand!
Hurry up and pull one, hurry up and pull one (mime an exaggerated pull)
It goes BANG! It goes BANG! (clap your hands loudly)
Christmas Pudding (sung to Frere Jacques)
Christmas pudding, Christmas pudding (hold an imaginary bowl)
nice and hot, nice and hot (blow on the pudding)
Sprinkle on the sugar, sprinkle on the sugar (pretend to sprinkle on sugar)
Eat it up, eat it up (pretend to gobble it up)
Where Is Santa? (sung to the tune of Are You Sleeping?)
Where is Santa? Where is Santa? (hide a santa behind your back or we let the kids put scarves on their heads and then pulled them off which they loved)
Here I am! Here I am! (put your arms out in fron making a big belly shape)
Merry, Merry Christmas! Merry, Merry Christmas!
Ho! Ho! Ho!, Ho! Ho! Ho!
The Reindeer Pokey (sung to the Hokey Pokey)
You put your right hoof in, (put your right foot in)
You put your right hoof out.
You put your right hoof in,
and you shake it all about!
You do the reindeer pokey,
and you turn yourself around
That's what it's all about!
Next verses – left hoof, right antler (use your hands on your head), left antler, tail and red nose.
Two Little Candy Canes
Two little candy canes
Way up high on the Christmas tree
Two little candy canes winked at me!
So I shook that tree as hard as I could
And down came the candy canes,
Yum, Yum, Good!!
