How To Make Sensory Squishy Bags

March 10, 2014momstownCraftNo comments
Perfect for toddlers and up, these squishy bags work for tracing letters and numbers, learning cause and effect and colours. Here are the instructions to make your own squishy bags for hours of fun (and no wasted paper!)

Activity ideas for squishy bags:

  • Make single colour and mixed colour squishy bags
  • Hide foam letters inside to play 'I Spy'
  • Trace letters, shapes, squiggles with fingers (this is a great fine motor activity, and bonus…doesn't waste any paper)!
  • Tape the bags to the window for an upright printing experience
  • Older kids can use a  Qtip to practice upper and lower case letters and words.
