Please bring your own helmets and skates, however there are a few sites that offer rentals. Helmets are strongly recommended. All rinks/ surfaces are open weather permitting and are to be used at your own risk.
The rink is now open! With the help of a refrigeration system and favorable weather conditions the rink will be open daily until approximately the end of February from 9:30am to 9:30pm (weather permitting). *Access to the rink and play yard is free after obtaining a vehicle permit (please refer to above link for pricing details). Skate rentals available.

Bronte Marsh Community Rink – CLOSED FOR THE SEASON
This community rink will be available for skating pending weather conditions and ice thickness. Please abide by posted signage regarding ice conditions and skating boundaries.

Whatever the weather conditions: Sunny, Windy or Chilly, come and skate on the Downtown Oakville Square synthetic ice surface until February 28th for free! Open daily, from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Also on Family Day Monday, February 16th from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm there will be Free live entertainment, music and goodies for the whole family too!

Rotary Centennial Pond/Skating Rink
Free outdoor ice-skating (weather permitting) for all ages on an artificial ice surface (organized sports such as hockey, and private skate functions not prohibited). Open 7 days a week from 10:00am to 10:00pm. For closure information during inclement weather, call the Ice Conditions Hotline at 905-634-7263.

The City of Hamilton has numerous community volunteer run outdoor ice surfaces. All surfaces are run on a weather-dependent basis. Skating is Free (no rentals are available) and a few may allow sports equipment ( I.e. Hockey) while others are for leisure skating only. Lights will be out at 11:00 pm daily. As long as cold weather is in effect the Town of Milton will continue to flood the rinks to prolong quality skating conditions. For information on conditions or closures, visit the above website. No rentals available. Lights can be turned on by a push button starting at 5:30 pm with automatic shut-off at 11:00 pm. No parking allowed in the outfield.
