It doesn't matter whether you're a stay at home mom, a work at home mom, working part time or full time outside the home, we are in an era where pretty much everyone needs a proper head shot for some reason or another. LinkedIn, charity work, social media platforms, etc – we are a visual society indeed.
During conversations earlier this year, it came to my attention that several mamas I knew did not have a proper head shot but sure could use one. And so, plans got underway to put an event together to provide an opportunity for momstown program pass holders to get the head shot that was needed.
Danielle Wilson Photography welcomed us into her home studio and we created a prep area upstairs while head shots were taken in the downstairs stuio. So how did our mamas prep for their photo session?
We were pleased to have Julie from Makeup by Julie on hand to provide makeup application using Arbonne products as well as Martina, a Stella & Dot stylist to lend out some bling for the photos. And what's an event without refreshments? Thankfully, Lisa Keenan's Epicure Selections brought an assortment of fabulous dips and teas for us to sample.
This was my first time using Arbonne makeup and I loved their eye liner (so smooth to apply) as well as their wide assortment of lip colours. I was also impressed with the Stella & Dot jewellery and picked up a pair of Sardinia Chandelier earrings.
And with Father's Day and summer BBQ season just around the corner, I found so many Epicure products that would make fantastic gifts (for Dad's or hostesses – maple bacon sea salt anyone??).
The event was a great success and I got a sneak peak at the photos and all the mamas looked amazing!
