Momstown offers so many amazing programs, a place for moms to connect with other moms in their community and a way to connect to local resources and businesses in their community too. But what does a mama really get when she buys a program pass?

Sometimes it's hard to explain to what an amazing resource momstown Oakville is for moms.  Not because its weird or complicated or exclusive, but just because there is so much more to us than people think!  After speaking to some friends the other day, I was inspired to write the top 5 things you may not know about momstown.

Counting down…

#5. momstown has a teacher developed curriculum that is woven into our programs and events. We have 8 program pillars that guide our programming and have a focus on early education and early literacy.

Program Pillars:

Art: developing creative minds
Music: an early introduction to movement and song
Literacy: commitment to early education
Nutrition: food, friendship & fun
Science & Discovery: inspiring curiosity together
Fitness & Adventure: encouraging family activity
Play & Social: learning through play
Prenatal: connecting moms-to-be

#4. A momstown yearly program pass is just $85+HST.  Once you have a program pass, you don't pay additional fees per program, the $85 covers it!  It also covers your whole family (we welcome Dads, Grandparents, Nannies, etc) no matter how many kids you will be bringing to a program.

That works out to about $7 a month (cheaper than Netflix!).  For unlimited programs like Junior Chef (yup, all the supplies included), Art & Play (yup, all the art supplies are included and we do all the clean up too), Baby Basics & so many more – its just $7 a month.

#3. When you buy a one year momstown program pass, you get a 12 month BONUS subscription to Today's Parent Magazine (Canada's #1 Parenting Magazine).

#2. A one year momstown program pass is eligible for the Child Art Tax Credit.  You can potentially reduce your income tax by joining momstown 🙂  Pass holders also have access to some discounts for local and National partners, providing another way to save some money.

#1 The opportunities!  You and your child/children will have so much fun creating artwork with coloured oats, doing scavenger hunts, making dinosaur bones art, making cloud dough or rainbow jars.  And new moms will create adorable keepsake crafts like this car or crown while also hearing from community experts on topics important to moms.

Take a look at our calendar to learn more about the activities and programs offered each month. You can purchase a program pass here.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions and you can read more about the momstown Oakville team here. We look forward to seeing you soon!
