Feel free to substitute the pork sausage for chicken or turkey sausage. You could also use another type of pasta, although we love how the bowties look in this dish.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes and then drain.
Heat oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat.
Cook the sausage and pepper flakes until sausage is evenly brown. Break up the sausage as it cooks into small bite sized pieces or smaller. Add the garlic.
Stir in the tomatoes and the cream. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer until the sauce thickens which should take about 10 minutes.
Stir cooked pasta into sauce and mix well. Heat for about 3-4 minutes so the entire pot is evenly warm.
